MONTGOMERY BUCKS RUGBY U16 BOYS XVs

Montgomery Bucks U16 is a full-contact division for boys born on or after 9/1/2009. Competing in the spring season, this level prepares athletes for the speed, physicality, and expectations of high school rugby.

At U16, the focus sharpens.

Players refine tackling and contact technique, improve positional understanding, and learn how to manage the pace and structure of the full XVs game. Safety and proper mechanics remain foundational, but accountability and competitive consistency become the expectation.

This is where preparation meets performance.

Athletes are challenged to compete with discipline, communicate effectively, and take ownership of their development — building the confidence and leadership required for the U19 and high school levels.

U16 is not just about getting ready for the next division.
